Cloud security platform: Trends and innovation

Cloud security is ever-evolving and covers a broad space. Threats are constantly emerging as hackers are getting more and more sophisticated. At the same time, customers are responsible for managing an ever-increasing number of security tools. We invite you to meet our thought leaders and learn how we’re building future-ready security solutions for cloud customers.

Our speakers will shed light on:

  • “Hello World”—Building your first cloud service Join us to learn the basics of building a globally distributed cloud service. Learn how Oracle designed Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and optimized it to deliver services that are highly available, scalable, and fault tolerant, and how to operate these services among different data centers across dozens of countries around the world. Hear from the leaders who designed, built, and now operate some of the most scalable cloud services on earth.
  • Applied machine learning and its role in cloud security Meet the leaders who are developing threat detection algorithms that help protect our customers and avoid preventable security breaches. Hear about the challenges—and the solutions—in developing a data and ML platform that powers the learning algorithms used by Oracle Cloud Guard and other security products.
  • Cloud security with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Can’t sleep at night because you’re worried about the security of your cloud infrastructure? Join us to learn how OCI helps protect customers with security operations, offensive security, antifraud, hardware security, security architecture, and other in-house capabilities.
  • At-scale observability OCI provides customer with observability services such as monitoring, logging, and analytics for more than 80 cloud services across 36 (and growing) worldwide regions for thousands of customer tenancies. Sounds easy, right? Imagine collecting just audit data: the result is a big-data challenge measured in petabytes of data per day. Come learn about our observability services to understand how Oracle maintains a highly available, reliable, and durable service for one of the most distributed, multi-tenanted systems in the world.
  • Cloud compliance and assurance with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Oracle is committed to helping our customers operate globally in a fast-changing business environment and addressing the challenges of an ever-more complex regulatory environment. Come learn about the global frameworks OCI has achieved a third-party attestation or certification for, and how these attestations can assist customers with their compliance and reporting.
