Meet our thought leaders
Vice President, OCI Security Platform
Bala leads the security products services organization for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. He's previously held senior software leadership positions at Amazon, MicroStrategy, SAP, and IBM. The vice president has a B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and an MS in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University in the US.
Vice President, OCI Security Platform
Kirsten leads the compliance and assurance for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and cloud platform. She manages a holistic governance, risk, and compliance organization that relies on built-in collaboration, and direct relationships with development and operations firms—in an evolving cloud environment. Before joining Oracle in 2014, she managed customer and operational programs in the financial services industry, bringing 10 years of experience to the company.
Vice President, OCI Security Platform
Sudha has been at Oracle for the last five years, leading the Observability and SIEM services organization for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Her teams manage Logging, Monitoring, SIEM, and Inventory services. She loves the challenges of running two of the largest scale services across OCI. Sudha is also a founding committee member of the Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) Seattle chapter, and is involved in many mentoring activities. Prior to Oracle she worked at Microsoft for 14 years in a variety of roles.
Senior Director, OCI Security Platform
Adam leads the security of next-generation solutions for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's offerings. He joined Oracle in 2013, bringing more than 15 years of academic and industry experience in development and security. Having previously worked with the US government as a security researcher and field-deployed operator, and for the U.S. Navy as a media exploitation analyst, Adam occasionally lectures at the University of Portland. He received his MS in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School and BS in computer science from the University of Portland.
Senior Vice President, OCI Security and Applications Platform
Mahesh leads the OCI Security and Applications Platform organization, which includes security and observability products, cloud security, compliance and assurance, and cloud applications. His organization’s mission is to make developers’ lives simple by building truly flexible, open, and differentiated products that make it easy for customers to securely operate their OCI services and modernize their DevOps solutions in the cloud. In his previous role at OCI, he led the console, UX, and messaging products teams. He has been at OCI since the early days and was part of the team that launched Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in 2016. During his time at OCI, Mahesh has been involved in strategic planning and in many product launches involving databases, big data, and the Microsoft and VMware partnerships. Prior to Oracle, he was at Microsoft Azure and was part of the early team that launched core infrastructure services in 2012 and later went to launch Azure IaaS services under Resource Manager in 2015. He has a demonstrated history of building hyperscale cloud services at both Oracle and Microsoft.
Senior Director, OCI Security Platform
Raju leads the OCI Security Posture and Intelligence Platform organization. He has been at Oracle since 2017 and was part of the team that launched Oracle CASB, Cloud Guard and Security Zone services. Prior to Oracle, he was at Netflix and Sun Microsystems developing scalable Edge Services, ML Infrastructure, Identity Analytics and Cloud Security Solutions. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, Tampa and a BE from Andhra University.
