I think one of the key things from Oracle is that you have a large organization that is going to invest in the platform, provide continuous improvement, really provide cutting-edge technology.

Sean TarteDirector of Finance Systems, Adventist Health

Adventist Health is a faith-based, nonprofit integrated health system serving more than 70 communities with hospitals, clinics, and various care services throughout California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii. Facing slow, fragmented access to financial data and inefficient manual processes that hampered timely decision-making and increased operational costs, Adventist Health sought to restructure its core financial data and optimize operations across 440 sites. The organization selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications—including expanded ERP, EPM, supply chain, and HCM solutions—to unify platforms, automate consolidation, streamline reporting, and gain seamless data integration across finance, HR, and supply chain operations.

By modernizing its chart of accounts and deploying new analytics tools, Adventist Health expected to reduce its time to close, increase user satisfaction, and refocus staff from manual data wrangling to value-added analysis. The move helped enable faster, more accurate decisions and delivered measurable efficiency improvements across the organization. Adventist Health values Oracle’s ongoing investment in cloud technologies, which supports continuous advancement and positions the health system to further enhance reporting, control, and ultimately, patient care.
