OpenStack Distributions from Oracle

OpenStack for Oracle Linux Release 5

Oracle OpenStack is management software for deploying and managing public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Oracle OpenStack Release 5 supports KVM hypervisor included with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 5 for Oracle Linux. For more than two years, beginning with the Kilo release, Oracle OpenStack has included the OpenStack control plane in Docker containers, enabling simple, scalable, and reliable deployment, updates, and upgrades of OpenStack services. In Release 5, Oracle OpenStack Docker containers have been updated to the upstream Queens release. Oracle OpenStack in Release 5 adds support for in-place upgrade: allows users to easily move from Oracle OpenStack Release 4 (Pike) to Release 5 (Queens) without requiring additional hardware. This can be done service by service or all at once with a single command, with no instance downtime. With Oracle OpenStack, customers can receive support for all the components of their cloud deployment with one phone call to Oracle. Oracle OpenStack is completely open source and support is included as part of Oracle Linux Premier Support and Oracle Premier Support for Systems at no extra charge.
