Oracle’s US Supplier Diversity program was created to develop and expand relationships with small and diverse businesses. Many of our prospective suppliers come to us with the following questions:

What are Oracle's eligibility requirements?

To compete to supply Oracle with goods and services, a diverse supplier must first meet the following criteria. Any subsequent specific eligibility requirements will be identified on a case-by-case basis for each purchasing scenario.

  • Completed webinar training from the Supplier Development page, including the certification quiz
  • Certification from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) or the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
  • Registration in the U.S. government’s System for Awards Management (SAM)
  • Registration with CVM Solutions
  • A regional or nationwide presence
  • US $1 million minimum in bonding insurance
  • Proven track record working with Fortune 500 companies
  • Ability to provide professional customer support
  • Demonstrated financial stability
  • A valid U.S. Tax Identification Number or country-equivalent taxpayer identification
  • Current and active website
  • Ability to execute Web-based electronic transactions

Does the Supplier Diversity team work with the direct/hardware supply chain procurement organization?

No, currently the Supplier Diversity team works with the indirect procurement team.

What can suppliers expect from Oracle Supplier Diversity?

Oracle's Supplier Diversity team works closely with procurement managers to increase awareness of the products and services available from diverse suppliers. As opportunities within Oracle arise related to your products and services, the Supplier Diversity team may contact you to better understand your capabilities and assess participation in the sourcing process. However, this engagement does not guarantee that you will secure business with Oracle.

The Supplier Diversity program maintains a strong relationship with the indirect procurement team while providing them with current information on qualified small and diverse businesses. Our partnership with the procurement organization provides visibility to current and future potential opportunities and sourcing events, allowing us to accurately recommend qualified and resourceful businesses. If your business’s products and services do not fit our current or future business needs, we will not present your information to the Oracle procurement team.

What certifications does Oracle accept?

All diverse suppliers interested in doing business with Oracle must provide copies of certifications. We request suppliers to be certified by any accredited certifying agency but recommend the following:
