Oracle Unified Operations Reference Solutions

The Oracle Unified Operations suite (UniOps) focuses on automating the design, orchestration, delivery, assurance and the lifecycle management of communications services and networks. Its integrated solution components comprised of Oracle Communications Unified Orchestration, Oracle Communications Activation, Oracle Communications Unified Inventory and Topology, and Oracle Communications Unified Assurance help CSPs, MSPs, and large enterprises accelerate the order to cash, closed-loop control and automation of their service and network operations processes, accelerating the journey towards the future of autonomous networks.

The Oracle Unified Operations suite provides two reference solutions. The Order to Activate solution provides a model-driven approach designed to increase operational agility for service launches and delivery while reducing both overall complexity and total cost of ownership. Now available within the 8.0 release, the Trouble to Resolve solution enables communications service providers to quickly identify and resolve issues within their networks.

To get started, review the system requirements for the Reference Solutions and read the UniOps O2A/T2R RI Getting Started Guides found within their respective documentation packages linked below.

Other Required Software

To install and use the UniOps Reference Solution, you must acquire a number of Oracle and 3rd party software products under the appropriate licenses.

  • If your company already has commercial licenses for all of the Oracle Communications Unified Orchestration and Unified Inventory and Topology products, you can obtain the required version of these from the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud
  • If you have not yet licensed all of the required products, you may download the missing ones from the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud under a temporary trial license.
  • Oracle partners can download the required products under the terms of the applicable Oracle Partner agreement.

Required patches for the Oracle products may be obtained from My Oracle Support and 3rd party web sites, as directed by the UniOps Reference Implementation Software Locations spreadsheet included in the Reference Solution documentation package.

Note: With the acquisition and incorporation of Federos, we have rebranded Oracle's suite to Oracle Unified Operations (UniOps) to reflect the increasingly integrated role of orchestration, inventory and topology, and assurance together to automate the operations. Therefore, SNO is being subsumed within UniOps from version 7.4.3 onwards.
