Access to or possession of a license key, code, file, etc. which unlocks or enables a software product is not a grant of entitlement . Your license agreement with Oracle provides the terms governing your use of Oracle’s products. Please ensure you are using the products in accordance with your license agreement.
NOTE: If you are on JDE World Release A91 or above, you do not need to request a new SPC as it is no longer a requirement.
If you are installing a cumulative update or JDE PTF and you receive the V97SER# - “Change SPC & Expiration Date” screen during the LODRUN process, do the following:
For assistance generating Seagull Software License Codes, you must contact JD Edwards World Technology Support through My Oracle Support.
IMPORTANT: A knowledgeable user should perform entering or changing a JD Edwards World Software Protection Code (SPC), as entering this code incorrectly can lock users out of your environment(s). For assistance with this process please contact JD Edwards World Technology Support through My Oracle Support.
JD Edwards World SPCs and System 00 Install Keys are generated based on: serial number, release of software, expiration date and number of licensed users. Therefore, a new SPC and Install Key will need to be generated if any of these variables change.
Follow these steps to obtain a Software Protection Code (SPC) and System 00 Install Key (when the current SPC is expiring/expired, reallocating users from one machine to another, or performing a disaster recovery test).
Do not use the "Request license codes" link at the bottom of this page.
